Luke Caleb Woods is 9 years old today! 

I could never list all the things that Luke adds to this family. He is his own man, and I love that about him. He has a beautiful and creative mind, and a tender heart. Mix in a little quirky and you've got yourself one fine young man. He makes his Mama and Daddy so proud, and his sisters love him to pieces.

I am flawed, incomplete, and wanting. But HE is perfect, flawless, magnificent. And He loves me. I have never been more aware of just how much than on this day 12 years ago. The gift He gave me late that unforgettable night turned my selfish, inadequate life upside down. And how could I have known then all that she would mean to me, all that she would mean to all of us. The beauty, charm, and melody that Emma Catherine adds to this world is matchless. And I will exhaust every moment of everyday making sure she knows it.
